All the Muslim believers are required to fast during the Month of Ramadan, the fifth pillar of Islam, Muslims are supposed to abstain rom eating and drinking and having martial relationship with their spouses.
Ramadan is usually 29 or 30 Days depending on the crescent moon seeing.
This month is called the most blessed month, and all the Muslims engages in more and more good deeds and praying more than usual, Zakat and Sadaqat becomes routine, Special prayer of Tarawikh is prayed in all Mosques besides the usual 5 times prayers.
Ramadan is expected to start in Saudi Arabia on March 22 if the crescent moon is seen.
Saudi Arabia calls on Muslims to sight crescent moon, The Supreme Court in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Sunday called on Muslims to sight the crescent of the holy month of Ramadan on Tuesday evening, March 21, the 29th of Sha'ban (8/29/1444 AH).
